    Do I need to attend class with my child?

    While it’s not necessary for a parent or guardian to attend class with their child, we do recommend that you stay nearby in case any technical issues arise, particularly for our younger students.

    From time to time, there may also be some activities that require adult supervision, especially in our Enrichment Club. Don’t worry, we’ll make sure to give you plenty of advance notice if this is the case. Thanks for your support!

    What does my child need for the online classes?

    To participate in our online classes, your child will need a few key things:

    • A desktop computer, laptop, or tablet with a webcam.
    • Headphones with a microphone (recommended).
    • A stable internet connection.
    • A quiet, well-lit space to participate in the class

    By making sure they have these things, your child will be set up for success in their online learning experience. Thank you for considering these requirements!

    How to access the online class?

    Our classes are hosted on Zoom’s video conferencing platform. A link will be provided once payment for the class has been confirmed. That link will stay the same for the duration of the program.

    If you don’t already have the software installed on your computer, you can download it here. Browse their support center if you have any questions on how to use it. 

    How do you ensure the safety of my child while online?

    At eSpacool, we always prioritize the safety of our students. Only those parents or guardians who have registered their child and paid for the classes have access to the link to the class. The link to the class is personal and should not be shared with anyone else. We ask that you keep it safe and not share it under any circumstances.

    Additionally, we have a strict policy against inappropriate behavior during class. If any issues arise, we will address them immediately and may remove any offending students or users from the class if necessary.

    Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and respectful learning environment for everyone.

    Do you record the classes?

    Yes, we do! We record all of our lessons for quality control and to provide students with the option to catch up on missed classes (this only applies to our group programs). If you need access to a recording, just let us know, and we’ll be happy to provide it to you.

    If you don’t want your child to appear in the recordings, you can simply turn off the webcam during class. We don’t post these recordings anywhere unless we have your permission. Please, make sure you agree to this before making your booking.

    What happens if my child misses a class?

    Enrichment Club and Group programs

    If your child misses a class, don’t worry! We have recorded lessons available for students to watch at their own convenience, so they can catch up on any missed material and stay on track with their learning.

    If you need access to a class recording, just let us know, and we’ll be happy to provide it. This way, your child won’t fall behind in their studies and can continue to make progress in their learning. Thanks for considering this!

    One-on-one classes

    Unfortunately, we don’t offer reschedules. However, if we have availability during the same week, we’ll do our best to find a spot for your child. Keep in mind that this is subject to availability, but we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

    Do you offer a discount for siblings?

    For our Enrichment Club, siblings are welcome to join in at no additional cost – it is one price for the whole family!

    For our online Group classes, siblings are welcome to join the same class, but they will need to pay for their spot. We do offer a 10% discount for siblings attending the same course, so be sure to let us know if you have multiple children interested in joining.

    To make sure each child gets the most out of the class, we recommend using separate screens for siblings attending the same course.
